Meet the Founder
Brittany Frederick is a native of New Orleans, LA. Graduated from the University of New Orleans with a Communications degree in 2005. She started FleurDeJewels in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic. Like every entrepreneur she stumbled and fell a few times and is still trying to master the small business world.
The Meaning
Fleur means "flower" in French. De stands for "of". Put together it means "Flower of Jewels". Each piece is named after a precious flower in a garden. My Louisiana creole background influenced the name. Like flowers of a garden, my jewels are handpicked to accentuate any look without breaking the bank.
A Letter from the Founder
Becoming an entrepreneur for a small business has had it's ups and downs. I have learned so much and acquired so many skills to reach new levels. I'm perfecting my craft everyday. The journey has just begun and if you were there with me since the beginning then I'm sure you will see me stumble and fall again. I just look forward to the tears, teachable moments and many late nights! Truly grateful for the support so far. Remember-my dreams and future success is lead by you. Cheers!
